1. How do I set the time?
Product range: CTX, CT, DK280, DK40 Telephone System
From port 000 (Usually Reception or extension 200):
- Press the SPKR button followed by #652
- Enter the time in the following format HHMMSS (The hour must be in 24 hour format)
- Press the RDL button to store the new time
- Press the SPKR buton to finish
2. When a call to your phone forwards to voicemail it goes into someone else's mailbox
Product range: CTX, CT, DK280, DK40 Voicemail
From your phone press the SPKR button followed by #656 91 XXX redial. (XXX= your ext no.). If using a standard phone (SLT): From your phone pick up the handset and dial #656 91 XXX #. (XXX = your extension number). This resets the call forward voicemail destination to your mailbox, removing any corrupt entries.
3. When I press the message key to retrieve a message from the voicemail, I go into the wrong mailbox

From your phone press the SPKR button followed by #657 92 XXX redial (XXX= your extension number). If using a standard phone (SLT): From your phone pick up the handset and dial #657 92 XXX #. (XXX = your extension number). This resets the message reply path to voicemail, removing any corrupt entries.
4. Calls to my phone will not forward into voicemail
Product range: CTX, CT, DK280, DK40 Voicemail
From your phone press the SPKR button followed by #657 92 XXX redial (XXX= your extension number). If using a standard phone (SLT): From your phone pick up the handset and dial #657 92 XXX #. (XXX = your extension number). This resets the message reply path to voicemail, removing any corrupt entries.
5. My message light does not go out after I have retrieved my messages from voicemail
Product range: CTX, CT, DK280, DK40 Voicemail
Press the message key again to check that no one else has left you a message, as all extensions on the system can leave message lights on your phone. If you are taken into voicemail again hang up and press SPKR #409. This will clear one message at a time, so if there are three messages left on your phone, dial #409 three times.
6. How do I program extension names?
Product range: CTX, CT, DK280, DK40 Telephone System
If using a digital phone with a display (System keyset):
- Press the SPKR button followed by #621
- Press the numeric key that has the letter that you want to use on it, then press 0 to scroll through the 3 letters available (use 1 for Q, Z and space, use * to go back a space)
- When you have finished entering the name press the SPKR button to store
If using any other type of phone the name must be programmed from port 000 (Usually Reception or extension 200):
- Press Mode followed by 70
- Press the SPKR button followed by #621
- Press the Page button
- Enter the Extension Number of the phone you want to change the name on
- Press the Page button again
- Press the # key to convert from numbers to letters
- Press the numeric key that has the letter that you want to use on it, then press 0 to scroll through the 3 letters available (use 1 for Q, Z and space, use * to go back a space)
- When you have finished entering the name press the SPKR button to store
- Press Mode followed by 71
7. How do I program System speed dials?
Product range: DK280, DK40 Telephone System
From port 000 (Usually reception or extension 200):
- Press the Redial button with the handset down
- Press the Speed Dial key and enter the speed dial location number (600-999)
- To program a name for the speed dial press the Mode key
- Press the # key to convert from numbers to letters
- Press the numeric key that has the letter that you want to use on it, then press 0 to scroll through the 3 letters available (use 1 for Q, Z and space, use * to go back a space)
- When the name is complete press the mode key again
- Now enter the telephone number (remember to prefix with 9)
- Press Redial to store
Product range: CT Telephone System
From port 000 (Usually reception or extension 200):
- Press the Redial button with the handset down
- Press the Speed Dial key and enter the speed dial location number (200-999)
- To program a name for the speed dial press the Mode key
- Press the # key to convert from numbers to letters
- Press the numeric key that has the letter that you want to use on it, then press 0 to scroll through the 3 letters available (use 1 for Q, Z and space, use * to go back a space)
- When the name is complete press the mode key again
- Now enter the telephone number (remember to prefix with 9)
- Press Redial to store
8. How do I program personal speed dials?
Product range: DK280, DK40 Telephone System
If using a digital phone (system keyset):
- Press the Redial button with the handset down
- Then press the Speed Dial key
- Enter the speed dial number (10-49)
- Press the Mode key
- Press the # key to convert from numbers to be letters
- Press the numeric key that has the letter that you want to use on it, then press 0 to scroll through the 3 letters available (use 1 for Q, Z and space, use * to go back a space)
- When the name is complete press the mode key again
- Now enter the telephone number (remember to prefix with 9)
- Press Redial to store
- If using a standard phone (SLT):Lift the Handset and dial # 66
- Press *
- Enter the speed dial location number (10-49)
- Then enter the telephone number (remember to prefix with 9)
- Then press # to store
Product range: CT Telephone System
If using a digital phone (system keyset):
- Press the Redial button with the handset down
- Then press the Speed Dial key
- Enter the speed dial number (100-139)
- Press the Mode key
- Press the # key to convert from numbers to be letters
- Press the numeric key that has the letter that you want to use on it, then press 0 to scroll through the 3 letters available (use 1 for Q, Z and space, use * to go back a space)
- When the name is complete press the mode key again
- Now enter the telephone number (remember to prefix with 9)
- Press Redial to store
- If using a standard phone (SLT):Lift the Handset and dial # 66
- Press *
- Enter the speed dial location number (10-49)
- Then enter the telephone number (remember to prefix with 9)
- Then press # to store
9. Calls to my phone will not forward into voicemail
Product range: CTX Voicemail
If using a digital phone (system keyset): Press the SPKR button followed by #6041 YYY "Speed dial" (If you do not have a "speed dial" button use * instead) then ZZ Redial.
If using a standard phone (SLT): Pick up the handset and dial #6041 YYY * ZZ #
YYY= extension number of the voicemail.
ZZ= delay time in seconds before you want the call to go to voicemail if not answered (usually 15 seconds is about right).
